October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in this issue we sit down with Sam Fraser, owner of QTCO, who is a survivor and passionate advocate. Her story is quite sobering and we thank her for sharing her journey with us, and providing us all with an important reminder to put yourself first and make the time to stay on top of all of your regular health checks. We were also invited to speak exclusively to Ilan Elad, President of Kornit Digital Asia Pacific and Phillip Rennell, Country Manager of Australia, Kornit Digital Asia Pacific during their recent tour of Australia. They shared some interesting insights into what is happening in textile printing globally, and what opportunities that creates for us in Australia and New Zealand. For all you screen printers, don’t miss the feature article written by Robert Wade on Direct to Mesh, a new stencil making technology that could dim the lights on traditional photographic stencil making processes. I saw it first hand at FESPA in May and it is definitely an interesting product with a lot of potential. As always we love to hear from you, so if you have any interesting projects please reach out to us at [email protected].
